Booking terms

Check-in & check-out
- Self check-in: from 16:00 (4:00 PM)
- Check-out: by 10:00 (10:00 AM)
Your door-access PIN will be sent by email one day before arrival. Early check-in and late check-out may be available on request, subject to availability and additional hourly charges.
Tiny Glass Lodge is a self-service accommodation and does not operate a reception or provide hotel-style services.
Cancellation policy
- 30 days or more before check-in: full refund less a €35 non-refundable payment processing fee. This also applies to partial cancellations, such as cancelling one night from a two-night reservation.
- 29–15 days before check-in: 25% cancellation fee.
- 14–10 days before check-in: 50% cancellation fee.
- Fewer than 10 days before check-in: non-refundable.
No refunds are provided for
No-shows, flight delays or cancellations, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, illness, weather conditions, schedule conflicts, early departures, or any other circumstances preventing arrival. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
If you accidentally book the wrong lodge or room type, we will do our best to assist where possible, but changes cannot be guaranteed, especially within 30 days of arrival.
Refunds are always returned to the original payment method and typically take 7–10 business days. Exchange-rate fluctuations may affect the refunded amount if payment was made in a currency other than Euros (€).
Guest safety & liability disclaimer
Guests are responsible for their own safety and wellbeing during their stay at Tiny Glass Lodge. By using the accommodation and its facilities, guests acknowledge that certain activities and areas may involve inherent risks, including the hot tub, sauna, outdoor areas, steps, decking, wet or icy surfaces, and changing weather conditions.
Guests are expected to use all facilities responsibly, follow any safety instructions provided, and take reasonable care at all times. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult.
Tiny Glass Lodge accepts no responsibility for injury, accident, loss, or damage resulting from a guest’s misuse of the property or facilities, failure to follow instructions, reckless behaviour, intoxication, or failure to take reasonable precautions.
Guests use the hot tub, sauna, outdoor areas, and other facilities at their own risk. Particular care should be taken during winter conditions, when surfaces may become slippery due to ice, snow, frost, or water.
Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded under Icelandic law.
